Privacy policy

This policy explains how Partego handles information when people use the website, invitation pages, and related app features.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Information we collect

We collect information needed to create and manage invitations, including host details, guest details, event details, RSVP responses, messages, and invitation activity such as when an invite link is opened. If you contact us, we collect the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, page URL, and bug report information.

We may also collect technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, cookies, and logs so the service can work securely and reliably.

How we use information

We use information to provide invitations and RSVP features, send event updates, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, respond to contact messages, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Advertising and cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored in your browser. Similar technologies can also store or access information on your device. We use essential cookies to keep Partego working securely. When website advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense and Google's consent management service to manage advertising choices.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies support features you request, such as signing in and securely submitting forms. These cookies do not require cookie consent when used only for those essential purposes. Blocking them in your browser may prevent those features from working.

We also use Cloudflare Turnstile for security verification, as explained below. Security technologies are used to protect the service from automated abuse.

Optional advertising cookies

When advertising is enabled, Google and the advertising partners listed in the consent form may use cookies or similar technologies to store or access device information, select and personalise adverts, measure advertising performance, and prevent advertising fraud. Depending on your choices, this may involve identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, and information about your activity. The form provides the current list of partners, purposes and storage information.

For visitors in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland, we use Google's consent form to offer consent, refusal and more detailed choices. Advertising requests remain paused until the consent service provides a valid decision. If you refuse advertising cookies, our website does not request AdSense adverts. You can still use the invitation and RSVP features.

Google's advertising script is used to load the consent service while ad requests are paused. Google explains that, during this pause, its scripts may read existing cookies on Google's domains, but do not set new cookies or use data associated with those existing cookies for advertising or measurement. Advertising cookies still require consent even when adverts are not personalised.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, Google's cookie information, and Google's explanation of paused advertising requests.

Use Cookie settings here or in the website navigation to reopen the advertising consent form and change or withdraw your consent. Changes apply to future advertising requests; the page may refresh to apply them. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

Advertising requests remain paused unless the consent service provides a valid decision. If Cookie settings does not open, advertising may be switched off or the consent service may be unavailable. You can use the contact page for help.

You can also delete stored cookies or block them through your browser settings. Deleting privacy-choice cookies may cause the consent form to appear again. Cookies already stored by advertising providers may remain until they expire or you delete them.

Optional website analytics

When Google Analytics is configured, we ask separately before loading it or setting analytics cookies. You can reject analytics and still use all invitation features. Advertising choices do not grant analytics permission.

With your permission, Google Analytics receives a general page category, such as “Invitation”, and whether an RSVP was completed as attending, maybe or declined. We replace invitation URLs with a generic page address and do not send invitation codes, login tokens, names, email addresses, event locations or message text. Google also receives technical connection and device information, including your IP address. We disable Google signals and advertising personalisation in our Analytics configuration.

Google Analytics uses first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits. We configure these cookies to expire after 180 days without extending that lifetime on each visit. We remember your analytics choice in local storage for 180 days. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies to the current page.

Change analytics settings to allow or reject analytics. Rejecting after previously allowing stops our analytics events, removes the Analytics cookies set by this website and refreshes the page to unload Analytics. Analytics settings appear only when Analytics is configured. Your previous data is not removed from Google's systems by withdrawing permission. See Google's information about partner websites.

Service monitoring

Automated uptime checks request the public website and health endpoints to detect outages. These checks do not open invitations, submit RSVPs or use guest accounts. The public health responses contain only a general availability status.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only where needed to run the service, such as hosting, email delivery, push notifications, analytics, error logging, and advertising services. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect invitation-code entry, contact messages and bug reports from automated abuse. Your browser connects to Cloudflare for verification, and we send the verification token and your IP address to Cloudflare to validate it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for information about its handling of this data.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, maintain records, resolve issues, and meet legal requirements. Contact messages and technical logs may be kept for support and security purposes.

Your choices

You can contact us to ask about information held about you, request corrections, or request deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be kept where it is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
